Travel experience with Airbnb to Bangkok, Thailand

Hi there! Recently I've heard about Airbnb quite a number of times and even read on magazines and newspapers! So I decided to give it a go for my trip to Bangkok, Thailand. Link to it is Airbnb.com .

First of all, I am certainly not paid to write this. I am writing this to share my experience with this website because it certainly made my trip to Bangkok a wonderful one! Airbnb is where you can rent apartments in many diferent countries with a budget of your own!!! All you need to do is sign up with your respective email address and start searching! Oh, for the budget pricing, you get to drag the price range bar so that apartments will be listed according to your price range. (:

Then secondly, you will have to private message the host of your choice of apartment. And when it is confirmed, you pay online according to the amount stated and will receive an email of your resit.

I have never been in Bangkok so that was my first. I went with my mom together with my lil brother whereby the apartment I booked was the exact thing as shown in the hosts' pictures! This shows that there is no gimmic in the picture of how huge or small the apartment is (: Our host was very nice. He even prepared his own map for us to use the BTS Skytrain and MRT to go to our destinations! Not only that, unlike other host, he prepared a phone with a simcard for us in case we would need his help, we will then be able to reach him. Amazing guy I tell you.

Everything was prepared as we were staying at our own home! High speed Wi-fi, fridge, toiletries, mini kitchen, telivision with DVDs and many more!

I personally snapped pictures from the apartment

Not to forget, at the lowest floor of the apartment, they have a mini market and also two restaurants (: Super convenient! And there is also a mini gym! But we did not get to go cause we were dead tired from all the walking and shopping at places in Bangkok (: I highly recommend you guys to give it a go! This isn't like Agoda which I find it pricey but so far I can find many beautiful places to stay for my trip within a low budget and with extremely good reviews!

Honestly, all the spices are really spicy at the same time they love to add sugar to everything!

At this little cafe under our apartment

Le Chef!

Yes I must have Tom Yam in every restaurant I go to in Bangkok!

So, if you are interested in staying in this apartment, feel free to search for Mr Suparp & Tsurumi for their " A.Cosy Bedroom and Living Room " in Bangkok, Thailand.

And most of all, if you would like to get a discount of RM90 for your stay, or hosting, you may use my referral code mwong1516

Magnum Kuala Lumpur

Hello everyone! As many of you who are a huge fan of chocolates might have been to the shop called MAGNUM in Midvalley Megamall. I personally never liked chocolates but my brother, Jon brought my cousin and I to the shop and treated us each an ice cream!

What I did not really like about getting it is that we have to queue up. Super long queue but if you have not try it before then why not?

Location: MidValley Megamall 3rd Floor (close to the movie counter)
Price: RM9.90 each for sticks whether you customize or not
           Rate: 5/10

I took the customize one. So I could pick my own flavour of ice cream and toppings. Apparently you may order something from the menu which allows you to sit upstairs and wait for your ice cream like a normal restaurant do. But if you are planning to get the stick, you'll have to queue up (:

Will I ever go there again? No. Unless I'm bringing my bf or someone who never tried it before. Not because the taste is horrible, but I just do not enjoy anything with chocolate. And, RM9.90 for a stick? Slightly on a higher side for me.

Nevertheless, their toppings are very interesting though. They have popcorn, cookies, rose petals (?), dried mangoes, marshmallows, potato chips (I really think I can buy a Magnum icecream and do it on my own) and many more. Note to self, that there is no glamorous way on eating it :D and if you are like my brother who is a chocolate freak, go for it :D

Their Toppings

Dip into any chocolate you love (Dark, White, Milk)

Drizzle your toppings!

Wahlaa! Here is mine (:

Other two are my brother's & cousin's

Had to queue up for sushi king also! Perks of going out on a New Year (:

Shell Out

Happy New Year to all the lovelies out there!

So for Christmas last year I brought my family to Shell Out seafood restaurant.
Usually, since I am a Chinese, I'd go for good seafood in a chinese restaurant but
since I was bringing my family, I decided to try out this place.
Their main bestseller dish is definitely their crabs!
Besides crabs they also have other seafoods like
-King Prawns,
-Crawfish,
- Clam (Lala),
- Octopus and also
- Scallops!

Menu (Apart from it)

They also have many other side dishes like fried seafoods, corns, vegetables, rice and etc.
Not only do I enjoyed the food, my family members loves them too (:
How do they serve? Well, to be honest, there is no glamarous way to eat seafood especially crabs!
So, shell out has this unique way of serving food is by placing a white paper sheet on the table and then pour out your seafood dishes onto the table with the paper sheet!
       Location:

Shell Out Seafood Restaurant
16-1, Jalan PJU 5/15,
Kota Damansara,
47810
       Booking Number: +603 – 7497 1137
Pricing: Slightly on the higher side but it is worth it!
Rating: 9/10 (Because if their servings would have been a lil bigger for my huge appetite!)

My advise, don't bother dressing up and don't be afraid to use your hands!!!
P.S you may leave your comment below if there is any questions.. Im not paid to write this.
